What it swaps:

• Hyprland borders, rounding, blur via omarchy.current.theme.hyprland
• Neovim colorscheme + lualine
• Alacritty, Starship, Waybar/Quickshell top bar
• GTK / Qt accents where possible

Anatomy of a theme

Themes live under $OMARCHY_PATH/themes/<name>/:

Your overrides in ~/.config/hypr/hypr.looknfeel always win over the theme layer — so you can keep gaps_out = 18 while swapping colors.

Making your own theme

1. Copy: cp -r $OMARCHY_PATH/themes/tokyo-night $OMARCHY_PATH/themes/my-theme
2. Edit my-theme/background.jpg, hyprland.conf, alacritty.toml, neovim.lua
3. Register: omarchy theme set my-theme

Ship it as a plugin at omarchyplugins.com and others can omarchy plugin install my-theme.

Color tips

• Keep contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for terminal text.
• Use one accent for focus (cyan #7dcfff) and one for urgency (yellow #e0af68).
• Test on both light and dark wallpapers — Hyprland blur tints heavily.

Backgrounds

Omarchy ships curated walls in ~/.config/omarchy/backgrounds. Add yours — they appear instantly in the picker.
